CSI-118 (Dynamic Fatigue Tester )
The Dynamic Fatigue Tester is used for the determination of: (1) The loss of force support at 40% IFD, (2) a loss in thickness, and (3) structural breakdown as assessed by visual inspection.
The apparatus repeatedly deflects the test material using a flat -horizontal indentation foot which can exert a force of 750 Newtons each time that it rests on the sample top surface.

The tester includes the following standard features:

Steel Welded Frame to support presser foot and drive mechanism.
Drive mechanism produces vertical up and down motion of presser foot on the test sample.
Steel Base plate, ground and with perforations, as required in above test method.
Presser Foot, 250-mm diameter.
Compression Load 750 Newtons (165 lbs.).
Compression Rate: 70 cycles per minute.
Gap under presser foot: 2.5”.
Predetermined type Cycle Counter – will stop the test after a pre-set number of cycles.
