CSI-131 (Frictionometer )
The CSI Frictionometer allows for the determination of the coefficients of siding (kinetic) friction of plastics solids or sheeting when sliding against similar or dissimilar substances through a variable speed range.

The apparatus consists of:

Variable speed drive to impart the desired rotational velocity to the specimen.
The friction member assembly is attached to the pendulum and fixed pointer.
Analog scale is provided to read the sine of the angle of the pendulum rotation due to friction during test.
Apparatus features an operator control panel with a Power On switch, Start/Stop switch, digital speed display and speed control knob.

Standard Technical Specifications:

Pendulum moments: 400, 600, and 1000.
Weights:5 grams, and 50 grams.
Speed Range:0.10 to 3.00 meters per second.
Rigid Fixed Spec.:20.0 mm dia.x2.0mm thick.
Rigid Moving Spec.:100 mm dia.x2.54 to 3.18mm.
