| The CSI Pendulum Impact Tester provides a means of quickly determining the impact strength resistance of plastic and ceramic materials when tested under controlled laboratory conditions. The CSI-137D Pendulum Impact Tester may be arranged to perform impact by Izod, Charpy, Tensile in Head or Tensile in Base Method. This model features automatic data acquisition system of impact energy. The instrument is supplied with a high resolution digital rotary encoder to follow the pendulum position after each impact release and automatically records the energy of impact. Model CSI-137D Pendulum Impact Tester includes: Massive steel base plate and upright support for the pendulum arm and release mechanism.
Supplied with mounting capability for the various anvil or sample support bases as needed for the particular test.
The precision manufactured Pendulum Arm pivot assembly is capable of quickly allowing the operator to mount the required pendulum arm assembly.
Pendulum Arms are rated for different energy levels. Select the pendulum arms and weights according to the desired test range and type
The impact energy of the test is shown on the computer monitor.
When the testing needs to be performed at low temperatures, the Low Temperature Conditioning Chamber may be fitted for the test.
