CSI-179 (Snag Resistance Tester )
The CSI Snag Resistance Tester was developed to determine the ability of a woven or knit fabric to resist puling or snagging of threads. The test is conducted by passing a fabric over the surface of a coarse sandpaper while the fabric is held lightly in contact with the sandpaper by pressure aprons.

The apparatus includes:

Cast aluminum base body.
Flat clamp set for holding abrading material.
Removable aprons for compressing the test samples.
