| The CSI-195 Radiant Panel Apparatus is used for performing measurements of surface flammability properties of materials, employing a radiant heat source consisting of a refractory panel burner in front of which a sample of the material is placed. The instrument is constructed in a welded tubular frame that supports the radiant panel in back and to the right. Also supports the specimen holding frame in front of the radiant panel. The exhaust stack is mounted centered and above the radiant panel. The stack includes a set of eight thermocouples whose measurements are used for the calculation of the evolution factor. The instrument includes:
Automatic Flame Ignition
Flame Out Detection Device Gas Flow Controls include:
Gas regulator
Flow meter
Air blower controls
A calibrated radiant Pyrometer is supplied for calibrating the thermal output of the burner panel. The apparatus is furnished with an stainless steel sample holder with support rack and drip pan. The basic apparatus is supplied with stack thermocouple connections for chart recording, and the pyrometer is supplied with a remove digital meter. Model CSI-195 is available with an automatic data acquisition system which includes:
A windows based test program
Data acquisition hardware
Desktop computer
The system is installed, fully configured, and ready for use. |
