Model CSI-195FAA Radiant Panel Flammability Tester was developed to evaluate the flammability and flame propagation characteristics of thermal/acoustic insulation when exposed to both a radiant heat source and flame.
This Apparatus meets the latest requirements of Federal Regulation Volume 68 No. 147 concerning thermal/acoustical insulation. This test apparatus is supplied with an FAA Certificate of Conformance.Main Features Include:

Electric Gradient Radiant Heat Source A Calibrated Calorimeter with water-cooling is supplied. The heat flux density range of 0 to 5 BTU/ft²-sec. The Calorimeter mounting fixture includes a metal frame capable of supporting a non-combustible insulation sheet. The frame is featured with three position pins used for calibration positioning.
