The CSI Peel Strength Tester allows for the determination of the relative peel or stripping characteristics of adhesive bonds when using defined specimens, and controlled conditions.
The apparatus includes a tabletop frame that includes a precision drive mechanism to separate the movable head to cause the separation of the sample members.
The resisting peel force and the distance of separation between the clamps holding the sample are monitored by transducers mounted in the frame and on the actual clamp assemblies.
Model CSI-36 is supplied with a computer package that includes, monitor, keyboard and mouse. The test software and hardware are installed and ready for use. A test report may be printed and saved to meet the referenced test method.Standard Features include: Constant Clamp Separation: 254 mm/min
Real-Time plot of load and peel distance
Maximum Peel distance 127-mm
Chart Record of Load at selected peel intervals
Maximum load up to 1000-kgf
Clamps and Force Sensors available for various ranges.
